This is the part where I’m supposed to tell you a whole lotta things, share my resume and demonstrate that I’m qualified to write about our beloved hometown…………… If it’s alright with you, I’m going to switch gears and share with you my story as if we were both sitting on the STOOP.

Here’s the quick, short and abridged version…..I grew up in Jersey City and wouldn’t change it for the world!!!!

I’m husband to an incredible wife who makes me a better person because she exists and father to two awesome kids. The three of them combined make me smile, cry, worry, lose my hair and laugh often……I’m just one lucky dude. I wake up each morning knowing that each day will be special because of them and I love it!

I have a full time job and I enjoy my career. On my spare time, I volunteer my time on occasion to help others where I can. I like the Yankees and the Giants. I still enjoy my buttered roll and coffee, love my chicken parm and I’m not a flatleaver. My favorite hobby is photography and anything Jersey City.

Since I practically talk about Jersey City to anyone who I meet, I thought to share with you the positive experiences that I had growing up in Jersey City. You and I will revisit our past and we’ll try to share with others who have the same mutual respect for our hometown.

My parents are still in Jersey City and I visit them often. I make the time to maintain the virtual Jersey City Stoop that I created in 2008 by driving around town and remembering the businesses, buildings, places and things I remember growing up.

Thank you all for being a part of WE GREW UP IN JERSEY CITY.  I hope you like the photos we post, the memories we share and you’re able to have a stronger appreciation for our hometown………………WE GREW UP IN JERSEY CITY and proud of it!!!!  Enjoy the walk down memory lane!
