To My JERSEY CITY FAMILY,

I wanted to take this time to THANK YOU all for being a part of our virtual Jersey City.

Our virtual STOOP continues to be a source for joy for those who want to walk down memory lane and remains a fun activity for me…..WE GREW UP IN JERSEY CITY makes my visits to Jersey City more meaningful. Hopefully, our collective efforts will keep our memories of growing up in Jersey City alive and preserve the good times that torn buildings, closed schools or distant memory can NEVER take away.

In the spirit of giving, here is a video of some photos compiled since 2008. It gives us a quick snapshot of what WE GREW UP IN JERSEY CITY has been doing since 2008…..ENJOY.

WE GREW UP IN JERSEY CITY is not just a tagline, it’s what we all did…..tell us how proud you are, share your stories, post more photos and have fun with it all.

Life is too short and it doesn’t hurt to reminisce once in a while.

Sincerely,

Eduardo Pena

Thanks Eduardo! My family has been in JC since 1880 and I am very interested in anything to do with the city and it’s people. I am nearby, about 35 miles north of JC and visit almost weekly. Still have family and friends in town.
